We have an exciting vacancy within our central commercial team for an experienced, passionate and skilled Commercial Assistant.

Reporting to to our Director & General Manager you will play a key role in providing administrative support, data entry and stakeholder support for the commercial activities of a multi-million pound business.

You would be joining us at an exciting time as we continue to revolutionise the way our customers purchase and use their products. This past year saw us introduce an innovative eCommerce system alongside delivering a range of other activities designed to grow the region’s transport market.

About the Role:

Commercial Assistant

£17,724- £20,942 per annum

Permanent

37 hours per week

Working alongside another Commercial Assistant and a Commercial Officer you will provide key administrative support for key systems, databases and processes. You will reconcile and collate sales and usage data to support the creation of reports and strategic decision making alongside working with operators and partners in facilitating the deployment and use of a range of smart transport tickets.

Your work would support decisions that will impact hundreds of thousands of public transport users and you will play a real role in helping people use products that keep them linked to family, friends work and opportunities.

About You:

As our ideal candidate you will have experience in a similar administration business support role, handling telephone enquiries/complaints and in data entry and producing reports.

You will need be educated to GCSE standard including English & Maths (or equivalent) and a good knowledge and working experience of Microsoft tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access) is essential.

The successful candidate will also need to demonstrate the following:

  • Administration skills
  • Analytical and numeric skills
  • Literacy skills
  • Able to prioritise tasks and deliver according to predetermined timescales
